What is Ava?
How does Ava integrate into MTSS?

‍Ava can be used as a Tier II intervention to offer focused support for students who need additional help in building SEL skills. It can be implemented with small groups to deliver structured, targeted lessons and practice.
Can you use Ava with students of all neurotypes?
Absolutely! Ava was developed using Universal Design for Learning principles, which focuses on providing flexible, accessible learning experiences that accommodate the needs of diverse learners. The SEL concepts that students learn and practice are based on CASEL, which are not exclusive to neurodivergent students. How does Ava create an inclusive classroom?
Ava helps create an inclusive classroom by using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to meet the needs of all students, including neurodivergent learners. It provides multiple ways for students to engage, like interactive storytelling and decision-making tasks, and delivers content through text, voiceovers, and visuals to support different learning preferences.

Students can create avatars that reflect their individuality, helping them feel represented. Ava also teaches skills like self-management, empathy, and perspective-taking, encouraging students to understand and appreciate one another.
